Javon Brame

BRIC Board Member, Vice Chair

Born and raised in Colorado, Javon Brame grew up in Northeast Denver (Park Hill) where his parents stressed leadership and the responsibility to give back to the community.  He is a passionate advocate for social justice and is a change agent who enjoys working with individuals, groups, and organizations on strategies to improve outcomes for marginalized and minoritized communities. He has served in various positions and levels of institutions of higher education since 2006. Javon currently serves as the dean of students at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Castle Rock and Parker, Colorado.

Javon earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Langston University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education with emphases in leadership and organizational change and diversity in higher learning from the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver.
