Alex Middleton

Alex Middleton is the strategy and operations manager for The Beacon Fund, a social impact enterprise committed to using the full range of philanthropic and market-rate tools to create positive change. Before joining the Beacon Fund, Alex was the strategy and operations manager at B Lab US & Canada, overseeing strategic planning, special projects, and people operations. Prior to this, Alex led youth development and adult civic education programs in Memphis, TN. She serves on the board of Beale Street Caravan, a nationally syndicated radio show, and on the advisory committee of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies from Sewanee, The University of the South. She now lives in Denver with her dog, Solomon, and enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring her new city.
