Courtland J. Powers-Gunnells is a social impact executive and accomplished fundraiser with more than a decade of experience strengthening nonprofits and advancing equity-driven missions. She currently serves as Vice President of Philanthropy at Invest in Kids, Inc., in Colorado, and as an Executive Fundraising Coach with The Funding Ethos, LLC. A native of Oklahoma City, Courtland is a proud graduate of Langston University, Oklahoma’s only Historically Black College or University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She also holds a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership from Oklahoma City University and an MBA in Organizational Development from Oklahoma Christian University. Throughout her career, Courtland has raised more than $10 million, managed multi-million-dollar fundraising pipelines, coached dozens of fundraisers of color, and partnered with boards to build sustainable development strategies. Her leadership and contributions have been recognized by organizations including AADO, Community-Centric Fundraising, and Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy.
